Pollyanna teaches a wonderful blend of yoga and pilates, to generate inspiration, fun, and great results.
Rose Engeln’s dance background began at the Interlochen Arts Academy, where she won the “gifted youth” award. Thereafter, she was awarded a grant by the National Endowment for the Arts. She studied jazz, tap, and movement at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Upon moving to the Bay Area, Rose began studying ethnic dance, including Congolese, Afro-Cuban, Haitian, and belly dance. She has been teaching various forms of ethnic dance since 2000, paying attention to form and alignment within classes that are fun and make participants forget that they’re exercising.
